Hi this is Rosie and before we had met Pro City Mortgage, my husband had been laid off from his job. I ended up retiring. Our income had dropped immensely and then we ended up over extending on credit cards and I was scared because we were already kind of upside down and it was like we were digging a bigger hole and just not getting anywhere and was not able to make our mortgage payment. Hi, this is Richard Houston. Before contacting Pro City Mortgage, my wife and I had been in our house about two years. We had a 30 year fixed loan and I had a very good union paying job in San Francisco. Our house payment was a little under $2,000 a month and I got laid off and the house payments kept coming. And we heard about Pro City’s Advertisement on the radio and we went down to the office in Roseville and we left that day and we felt fairly confident that things were going to look up for us.
And I tell you beyond our wildest dreams we never thought what happened, would happen for us. Our payment went from a little under $2,000 a month to $840 and for the first time in two years we feel like we own our home again.
During the process there was, you know, there was a lot of anxiety. And looking back, they constantly kept in contact with us. When ever I called, they always returned my calls and they calmed my down. I just can’t reiterate that it was a huge deal and everything they said worked out just right for us. We have acquaintances that went through companies in Southern California that were advertised on the radio and they never had that personal contact that you have with Pro City Mortgage.
If you are worried about making your house payment and worried about losing your house, I would definitely call Pro City Mortgage and have them at least see what they could do for you. It doesn’t cost anything to go down and talk to them. They’re very nice. They go over everything with you. Before you leave Pro City Mortgage on you first visit, you’re pretty much completely informed. What do you have to lose man, you know, besides your house if you don’t give it a whirl.
If it can happen for us, it can happen for anybody. That was the best money I’ve ever spent. If it wasn’t for Pro City Mortgage, my wife and I would not have been able to keep the house. We have too many neighbors that have tried on their own and have failed. Thanks to Pro City Mortgage, we are going to be able to keep our house. Hi this is Roger. Before I visited with Pro City Mortgage, I had an upside down situation where I couldn’t pay the existing mortgage. The value of the house was dropping. I needed an adjustment just to stay at the property.
When I first met with Pro City, I specifically asked to try to get a reduction of approximately $1,000 and that was achieved. I had a payment on my mortgage of $2,700 and they were able to reduce my mortgage by about $1,000 which has enabled us to stay on our property and make ends meet.
It has changed everything significantly for me. A very drastic situation of potentially losing the property and house to making it manageable and we can now make our payments and it’s all under control for the first time in about a year.
I knew that there were companies out there that were not on the up and up and so I was actually looking for a company that I felt comfortable with and had a good reputation. So that’s one of the reasons I went with Pro City. I felt it was worth going with Pro City just to let the professionals deal with the bureaucracy and get me what I need.
Pro City would call at least every couple of weeks to give me an update. And when I talked to people at Pro City, they were really forthcoming and calmed me down because I did have a few times that I was like, uhhhhh what’s going on, you know, and I would just call them up and they would say ok here’s what’s happening.
I think that anyone who thinks they might have a possibility of a loan modification to improve their financial situation should at the very least go to Pro City and get an evaluation of their situation.
I have no regrets and feel it was well worth the money that it took to get my loan modification. In general, I think it was an excellent experience.

We were at our wits end with the person that was claiming they could do something. My husband is in construction self employed. The construction business pretty much went away. We just weren’t able to make ends meet anymore. We built our house. We had all of our children there and the thought of having to leave it was, you know, very scary.
